Volunteer
We have many opportunities for people to get involved, including:
Creators who can provide courses and related educational content they have created, or over which they have rights to make such material openly available over the Internet under a Creative Commons license.
Translators who can help OLE Centers provide courses and related educational content and software in the languages of their country. Our immediate needs are for translation from and into Nepali, Spanish, French, Hindi, Arabic, Mandarin and English.
Software Developers who can enhance OLE’s open source software by writing additional software that extends its effectiveness and usefulness.
The educational content and software provided by Volunteers will be available in OLE’s Billion Kids Free Public Library under a Creative Commons license and available for anyone to use in their current form or to adapt them to create locally-appropriate resources.
